Tommy L. Searight Jr. has 15 years of experience as a basketball coach along with experience as a freelance writer specializing in content related to sports, academic education, and investing. His combined love for writing and sports has resulted in him writing his first book (in progress). Tommy has been a resident of South Mississippi for 36 years. We’re excited to be working with Coach Searight!
Trey Hatfield is currently the JV Coach and Head Varsity Assistant at St. John Paul II. He is a graduate of Decatur High School. During college Hatfield was a manager at Troy University. Hatfield has experience working summer camps at Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, and Georgia Tech to name a few. We’re excited to be bringing Coach Hatfield to our team!
Hayden Moss is currently the assistant basketball coach at Tharptown High School under former UNA Head Coach Bobby Champagne. Moss also has experience as an assistant with the Bama Blazers AAU program. He is currently pursuing a degree in Education. We’re extremely excited to bring Coach Moss onto the HoopFront team!
Trey Benford currently helps coach 9th grade boys at East Franklin Junior High School. Benford also coaches a 12U basketball team as well as being the Head Coach for the Bama Blazers 16U team. He is a certified referee. Benford is majoring in Social Science with a minor in Sports Journalism. We’re extremely excited to be working with Coach Benford!
Lawrence McGraw has eight years of coaching experience with boys and girls at the varsity level. He also has experience coaching the Alabama Heat and the Alabama Kings travel ball organizations. He has had multiple stints with different sports publications and newspaper across the south. We are excited to be working with Coach McGraw.
Jonah Fisher has experience as an assistant coach with the NWA Ice travel ball program. Fisher has a passion for basketball and writing. He is currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and is interested in learning and getting experience in Sports Journalism. Coach Fisher is a great addition to the HoopFront team and we’re extremely excited to be working with him.
Luke Garrison is currently an assistant coach at Russellville High School. Garrison also has experience coaching 10U basketball as well as being an assistant for the NWA Ice 14U team. He is currently pursuing a degree in Finance. We’re excited to bring Coach Garrison onto the HoopFront team!
